If a specification is wrong, a price is badly out of date, a link points somewhere unexpected or a calculation produces an obviously wrong number, please say so. Tell us the page and what you expected instead, and it gets checked and fixed.

Corrections about mounting standards, payload figures and codec bitrates are particularly welcome, because those numbers are the ones people rely on and a wrong figure in a reference chart propagates further than a wrong opinion in a roundup.

Questions about a build

The most useful message includes the body you own or plan to buy, the kind of work you do, and the budget you have. Those three things determine essentially every recommendation on this site, and without them any answer is a guess.

Before writing, it is worth checking whether the answer is already on the site. The camera pages cover body-specific rigging, the calculators answer the numeric questions, and the comparisons give thresholds for the decisions people get stuck on most.

Brands and manufacturers

We do not accept payment for placement, sponsored posts or paid reviews, and a gifted unit does not change a recommendation. If you make something in this category and think it belongs in a roundup, the useful thing to send is documentation: published specifications, load ratings, standards compliance and measured figures.

That is not a formality. Every pick on this site is researched from specifications and verified owner reviews, so a manufacturer who publishes clear, complete numbers is genuinely easier to recommend than one who publishes marketing copy.

Privacy and data

Requests to access or delete an email address we hold go to the same address and get actioned. The privacy policy covers what is collected, which is very little: analytics, and an email address only if you gave us one.

What we cannot help with

We cannot diagnose a faulty camera, arrange a repair, or advise on warranty claims. We also cannot recommend equipment for a use case outside camera rigs and video production, and we are not a substitute for professional advice on electrical work, rigging loads or shipping regulations.
